Leading Innovation In Endoscopic Therapeutics : ESGE Days 2025 Congress Review<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

At ESGE Days 2025, Treatment Strategies visited the exhibition hall and caught up with Finemedix,
\na company founded in 2009 by Prof. Seong Woo Jeon, a gastroenterologist expert.<\/p>\n

Finemedix Co., Ltd is a Korean medical device manufacturer brand built on a prosumer (producer+ consumer) driven model
\nwhere medical professionals directly participate in product development.<\/p>\n

This unique approach has allowed Finemedix to successfully localize and innovate a wide range of endoscopic therapeutic devices,
\nparticularly for Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) procedures.<\/p>\n

Finemedix\u2019s main product is its hybrid ESD knife, a groundbreaking tool designed for the treatment of gastric,
\ncolorectal, and esophageal cancers. As the first in the world to integrate both an I-tip (for marking and incision) and
\nan O-tip (for pre-cut and dissection) into a single device, this innovation has significantly reduced actual
\nprocedure time, lowered patient\u2019s burden, and improved cost-efficiency.<\/p>\n

Finemedix holds approximately 25 percent of market share in Korea, a testament to its clinical performance and value.
\nAs of March 2025, Finemedix offers 27 products, 234 different production models and the company has
\nearned recognition globally for its technological excellence, achieving its first million dollar export milestone in 2021 and expanding
\nits footprint to 47 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n

In addition to its product innovations, Finemedix also runs an annual global training program called
\n\u2018TED \u2013 Therapeutic GI Endoscopy and ESD training in Daegu’.<\/p>\n

The program is dedicated to supporting and educating young endoscopists from around the world.
\nThe next program is scheduled in the third quarter of 2025, continuing Finemedix\u2019s
\ncommitment to advancing global endoscopic education and clinical excellence.<\/p>\n

In late 2024, Finemedix listed on the KOSDAQ (Korean stock market).
\nPositioning itself as a total solution provider in endoscopic procedures, Finemedix is evolving from a fast
\nfollower to a first mover, continuing to lead the endoscopy field with clinically inspired, physician-driven innovation.<\/p>\n
